Due to the vetting process is longer than expected, the result announcement will be deferred to 12 May.
In response to the severe challenges posed by the fifth wave of the pandemic, AIA Foundation has generously donated HK$10 million to The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) for purchasing supermarket and dining vouchers (the programme), aims to provide instant support to the people with disabilities (PWDs) living in the community and ease their hardship in daily lives. The programme is co-organised by HKCSS and the Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities, while 12 local non-profit organisations for rehabilitation service are the partners of this programme, they are responsible for handling applications and distribution of the mentioned cash vouchers. Each successful applicant will receive a total of HK$1,000 supermarket and dining vouchers to relieve some of the daily expenses. 10,000 PWDs will be benefited in this programme.
We, TWGHs, as one of the partners of the programme, are responsible for handing applications from PWDs living in the Central, Western, Southern and Islands districts.
Application is closed on 22 April 2022. Result will be announced on 12 May 2022 through the websites of the 12 partnered organisations. Applicants should check with the organisations that they submitted application to for the results. The organisation will contact each successful applicant (who applied via their organisation) for the date and arrangement of vouchers collection.
